Canoeing the Grand
was founded and opened in the
summer of 1991. Since then, Canoeing the Grand has been
getting busier and busier every season.
Daily Service from Elora Gorge Park to Paris - April
to November
We are ideally
situated on the banks of the Grand River in Kitchener,
Ontario and provide direct access to the river. Our
proximity to many more points only minutes away,
provides convenient access to nearly 100 km of river and trails travel.
By the Hour, By the Day or By the Trip Rentals
We rent canoes by the hour or the day and also provide
trips from 2-8 hours. You park at our location and we
shuttle you and our boats (or your
gear) to your
paddling, (or cycling, hiking) starting point (service
area map). Your gear or ours, it's the easy way to
experience the Grand River by water, or by land
on the
Walter Bean Grand River Trail.
Our
Pricing is All-Inclusive, Including Sales Tax!
Every canoe trip price is for two persons, comes
with 2 Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs), 2 Paddles, and Shuttle
Service. The same trip prices apply if you want
to use our shuttle service for your land trail trip or, to use your own supplied equipment.
At your option you may also hire one of our
ORCKA-certified guides to accompany you or your
