BOOK  A  TRIP


It is strongly recommended that you book your canoe or kayak trips well in advance due to limited shuttle space available.

For hourly or daily rentals we charge $25/hour or $75/day per canoe.

Trip prices below include shuttle service, canoe and gear for two people, and HST. Additional passengers per canoe: adult (1) $20, children (up to two, age 3-12) $10 each. Rates effective Monday, October 31, 2011, subject to change.

Trip times are average times to completion by most people. Unless otherwise indicated on the trip's detail page, you may take as long as you wish to complete any trip as long as you arrive at CTG by closing time (6PM), unless late arrival is arranged for longer trips.

  • First time or infrequent paddlers are recommended to take the Otterbein or Breslau trips. They are scenic, offer calm water, no portages and 1.0 to 2.5 hours in duration.
     
  • Paddling times are approximate and relate to the Summer season and its lower flow conditions. For any trip, you may take as long as you wish to complete the trip (stop for a picnic or bird-watching, etc.) as long as you are back by closing time: 6PM daily.
     
  • All canoe trips prices are for two and include 2 PFD's, 2 Paddles, Shuttle Service and Sales Tax.
     
  • For groups of 8 or more boats (via one booking and payment), please contact us to take advantage of Group Discounts.

Canoeing the Grand Service Area...

If you wish to travel further than Paris, Canoeing the Grand will co-ordinate your trip with other Grand River Outfitters Association members as far south as Lake Erie.

We provide trips to the points indicated plus custom trips to every access point in between - more than 20 unique trip plans are available.

On the Waterloo-Kitchener-Cambridge sections, several access points along the Walter Bean/Grand River Trail are also available.
